公元1405年至1433年,明成祖朱棣派遣郑和带领庞大船队,先后七次出使西洋。郑和舰队航行于西太平洋和印度洋上,先后拜访了三十多个国家和地区,最远甚至到达非洲东海岸。此壮举不仅将中华文明的种子传播到海外,亦加强中国与东南亚、印度、非洲地区的贸易和文化交流。郑和七下西洋的壮举是古代中国航海史上规模最宏大、船只数量最庞大、随船海员最多、历时最久的海上航行,是明王朝强盛的直接体现。这样大规模的航海行动,不仅是中国,也是世界海洋史上的一次伟大壮举。本文将从明朝永乐年间的国内外形势、当时政府经济情况、航海技术等方面入手,兼顾明成祖外交政策和政治目的,分析郑和下西洋的历史背景,探究其取得的政治、经济、社会、文化成就,以及其历史意义。
From 1405 to 1433, Ming Chengzu and Zhu Di sent Zheng He to lead a large fleet and successively dispatched seven times to the West.
