鎂乳(Magma Magnesiae,Mistura MagnesiiHydroxidi;Milk of Magnesia;Cream of Magnesia)是氫氧化鎂在水中的混悬剂,为白色並稍有粘稠性的液体,因外观似乳,故名。中国药典定为法定制剂,其它国家药典也多有收载,医疗上經常使用。本品制备的方法虽然很多,但原理不外以下三种。一、沉淀法:用硫酸镁溶液与氢氧化鈉溶液使相作用,用水洗去所生成的硫酸鈉,使氩氧化鎂混悬于水中即得。其化学反应如下: MgSO_4·7H_2O+2NaOH→Mg(OH)_2+Na_2SO_4+7H_2O 二、水解法:把氧化鎂与一定量的水相調和,使起加水分解,其化学反应如下: MgO+H_2O→Mg(OH)_2 三、沉淀法与水解法併用:本方法是將以上二种方法合併使用,其中所含的氫氧化镁大部是由水解法生成的,中国药典所採用的就是这种方法。以上所述三种方法,至今都在使用,共詳細操作程序都很简單,不多贅述,现仅將各种方法的特点略述于下。用沉淀法制备时,应先將兩种溶液加温至約50℃,然后把氫氧化鈉溶液注入硫酸鎂溶液
