研究正畸治疗对生长期患者下颌旋转的影响难以区分下颌旋转是自然生长的结果还是正畸治疗的作用。以往常用的方法是用相同年龄组的患者作样本对照,以减少自然生长的影响。其缺点是选择相同年龄的要求受到一定限制,常造成样本含量偏小,且男女性在治疗开始时间、疗程及生长高峰开始时间等方面均存在明显的差异,对研究结果有一定的影响。
To study the effect of orthodontic treatment on mandibular rotation in growing patients is difficult to distinguish whether the mandibular rotation is the result of natural growth or the effect of orthodontic treatment.
