Preface This paper presents the results of a preliminary analytical study of some of the basic parameters used to determine the state of attack at the “space-one” end of a television-guided missile. The purpose of this paper is not to design a special system but to provide a technical preparation on the basis of which different projectiles and optical configurations are compared. The most important parameters are: missile velocity, target recognition distance, maneuver acceleration limit, target reach area and field of view. Conclusion The impact of missile velocity has been analyzed and studied in the state of terminal attack, and can be explained as a general principle. These effects are:
