As a cross-border ethnic group residing on both sides of the border between China and Myanmar, the De’ang nationality has a relatively small population in Yunnan of our country. However, it still retains a relatively complete national culture, especially in the areas of music and dance. It has many forms and unique features . With the development and changes of the times, the traditional culture of De’ang is facing the crisis of inheritance. The younger generation gradually disregards the music and dance culture of its own people. This article explores this phenomenon: we should promptly carry out cultural rescue work, to retain this precious national and cultural heritage.
