罗公三登望京楼我国著名长城研究专家罗哲文教授,从1950年起就全身心地投入到万里长城的研究之中,四十多年来,他不改初衷,著述等身,可谓长城学界的“泰斗”人物,被人们尊敬地称之为“罗公”。我们在拜访这位年近七旬的著名学者时,意外地得知:罗公在花甲之年,竟第三次登上了司马台长城的最高点——望京楼、仙女楼。日后,我们几位中青年记者吃力地攀上望京楼时,不禁对罗公这位老学者的敬慕,更加油然而生——这自是后话了。罗教授对司马台长城可谓情有独

When we visited the famous scholar in nearly seventy years, we unexpectedly learned that Luo Gong was the third time in the year of Huajian that he climbed to the highest point of the Great Wall of Simatai - the Wangjing Tower and the Fairy House. In the future, when several of our young and middle-aged reporters struggled to climb up to see the Jinglou Tower, we can not help admiration for Luo Gong, an old scholar.
