华语电影的外在特征一般主要体现在以讲述华人生活历史为主干,以华人演员为主体并使用中文,其内在特质则主要可见于蕴涵在华人生活历史故事与文化物象景观中的理念及价值。就世界范围传播历史来看,华语电影富有正能量的文化影响力,一般都因为其宏观、中观和微观层面内容的有机融合。这宏观层面内容主要指富有一定文化价值内涵并进行相对独特的影像表达,中观层面内容主要指故事情节设置出乎意料而合于情理的创新,微观层面内容则指生活细节和物像景观的真实性、艺术化。对于优秀华语电影而言,这三者相互关联、密不可分而浑然一体。任何无视或忽略中华文化内涵及意义价值的创作,不可能成为优秀的华语电影并很好地影响世界,也不可能积极地服务于中华民族的伟大复兴。
