“战争启蒙”和“人性自觉”作为20世纪40年代少数民族题材戏剧的两大重要主题,具体体现为四个主要方面:民族偏见服从于抗战大局、“世仇(私仇)”服从于“国仇”、个人情感服从于民族大义、人性探寻与自由求索。而在具体的剧作中,这四个方面往往又是交叉呈现的。这从一个侧面表明,在40年代战争与政治的境遇中,剧作家不但具有中国现代知识者独特的感时忧国情怀,而且坚持着对话剧人学精神的追求。
“War Enlightenment” and “Human Consciousness” are two major themes of the drama of ethnic minorities in the 1940s.
