The purpose of the experiment was to observe whether dimethylhydrazine (DMH) can cause cancer in Chinese alligator. The experiment was divided into 3 groups; the commonly used experimental group was 20 young crocodile aged 2 years. The amount of DMH used was 20 mg/kg each time. In the high-dose experimental group, there were 20 2-year-old young crocodilians, and the DMH dosage was doubled, each time being 40 mg/kg. In the control group, there were 20 mice. The dose of DMH was the same as that of the commonly used experimental group. All three groups were injected subcutaneously in the neck. Once a week, a total of 16 times. Animals were sacrificed 5 months later. As a result, 100% of control mice induced colon cancer. For the 40 young crocodilians of the commonly used and high-dose experimental groups, there was no case of colorectal cancer. The carcinogenicity test showed that the Chinese alligator has strong anti-cancer ability.
