Intracranial aneurysms are rare in children. Although there are reports of spontaneous thrombosis in individual children, there is no precedent for embolization. In this case, the three-year-old child presented with symptoms of left hemisphere ischemia. An arteriovenous malformation (AVM) was initially diagnosed. A large left middle cerebral artery acute thrombotic aneurysm with arterial obstruction and distal infarction was found. There have been no reports of such cases in the past.
