基于企业层面的数据,文中运用EG指数方法对中国造纸业的空间集聚水平及变化趋势进行分析,进而考察中国造纸业的空间集聚水平对企业出口的影响。研究结果表明,1999—2009年中国造纸业的空间集聚水平有所提升,空间集聚水平的总体变化趋势为先提高后降低,中国造纸业空间集聚水平总体处于一般集聚水平。研究结果还表明,中国造纸业空间集聚程度对出口强度具有显著的正向影响。为提高中国造纸企业的国际竞争力,应合理引导中国造纸业的适度集聚,并进一步提升中国造纸业产品的出口质量。
Based on the data at the enterprise level, this paper uses the EG index method to analyze the spatial agglomeration level and the changing trend of China’s paper industry, and then examines the impact of the spatial agglomeration level of Chinese paper industry on the export of enterprises. The results show that in 1999-2009, China’s paper industry increased its spatial agglomeration level. The general trend of spatial agglomeration increased first and then decreased. The overall agglomeration level of China’s paper industry was generally at the level of general agglomeration. The results also show that the degree of spatial agglomeration in China’s papermaking industry has a significant positive impact on export intensity. In order to enhance the international competitiveness of Chinese papermaking enterprises, it is necessary to properly guide the proper concentration of Chinese papermaking industry and further enhance the export quality of Chinese papermaking products.
