Thomdoll-CSF Electronics of France has been designing and manufacturing radar proximity fuzes for missiles for over 20 years. To date, the company has produced more than 1,600 such fuses, of which more than 1,000 are orders from others. These fuses are based on Mattel air-to-ground anti-radar missiles (continuous production since 1970), Masurca surface-to-air missiles (which have been in production since 1971), and Matra ( Matera) over 530 air interceptor missiles (which have been in production since 1978). In the near future, it will begin to produce a new kind of fuze for the Navy’s Crotale surface-to-air missiles.
