The author recently discovered a new type of early Taiwanese inkstone in Beijing. After a preliminary study, it was confirmed that this book was an early copy of Pan Zuoyin, a book written by the late Qing Emperor Guangxu, which was given to Li Guangyi by Suzhou literati in 1884. This is the earliest known Taiyitian ink that is currently known to have been recorded several times in the past. The four epigraphs attached to this book also provide important research information for today’s study of the Taiwangdian monument.
