在支持QoS(quality of service)的IP组播中,为了解决由于并发组数量的增加造成的路由器状态爆炸问题以及由于接收者请求不同级别QoS而带来的困难,提出一种支持不可排序QoS的可扩展组播机制。此机制考虑了QoS级别的排序性,使用启发式算法为组播组选择适当的组播树,让属于不同组播组、请求相同QoS级别的组播接收者共享使用组播树。模拟实验结果显示,该方案可以有效地改善组播状态可扩展性,在一定的实验设置情况下,组播树与组播组数量之比可低于1/8;同时满足接收者的不同QoS需求。
In the IP multicast that supports QoS (quality of service), in order to solve the problem of router state explosion caused by the increasing number of concurrent groups and the difficulties caused by the recipients requesting different levels of QoS, Extensible multicast mechanism. This mechanism considers the ranking of QoS levels and uses the heuristic algorithm to select the appropriate multicast tree for multicast groups so that multicast receivers that belong to different multicast groups and request the same QoS level share the multicast tree. The simulation results show that this scheme can effectively improve the multicast state scalability. Under a certain experimental setup, the ratio of the number of multicast trees to multicast groups can be less than 1/8; meanwhile, different QoS demand.
