一、张家港的地理特性 1.优越的地理位置张家港位于长江口河口段,长江江南三角洲的北岸,江苏省沙洲县境内,地处长江三角洲中心。若以张家港为园心,以70公里为半径划园,无锡市、常州市,苏州市、南通市以及目前已初具规模的海港,南通港与大港都在其范围内(图1),成为苏、锡、常三市通海与通长江的捷径。若以420公里为半径,上海经济区全部海港,以及主要河港(除九江港外),都在其范围内(图1)。因此张家港的兴建,对于发展上海经济区的海运与河运,近期内分流上海港的货物,都有现实的意义。

Taking Zhangjiagang as the center and zoning of 70 kilometers as a radius, Wuxi, Changzhou, Suzhou and Nantong as well as the seaports, Nantong and Dagang, which have begun to take shape at present, are within their scope (Figure 1) and become Su, tin, often three cities Tonghai and the shortcut to the Yangtze River. If the radius of 420 km, all the Shanghai Economic Zone Harbor, and the main river port (except Jiujiang port), are within its scope (Figure 1). Therefore, the construction of Zhangjiagang will have realistic significance for the development of maritime transport and river transport in the Shanghai Economic Zone and the diversion of goods in the port of Shanghai in the near future.
