党的十三大向全党、全国人民发出了加快和深化改革,建设有中国特色的社会主义的伟大号召。在十三大召开以后,全国经济体制改革和政治体制改革都将深入展开,发生重大变革。这一新形势,向党的新闻事业提出了新的任务。这就是要在积极加强改革宣传的同时,深入进行自身的改革,使新闻舆论工作真正成为整个经济体制改革和政治体制改革的重要组成部分,更好地配合各方面的改革,在建设有中国特色的社会主义中作出自己的贡献。当前深化新闻改革抓什么?最重要的是:第一,新闻体制的改革;第二,新闻指导思想的改革。
