水杉是我国特有的孑遗珍贵树种,目前已成为长江中下游及其以南各省平原湖区造林和城镇绿化的主要树种之一。由于在引种地区水杉进入结实期晚,影响了遗传改良进程,为此我们采用了无性系选择改良的途径。从1976年开始进行资源收集,建立采穗圃,苗圃比较和大田比较试验,现已选出第一批水杉无性系品种,比现有生产群体有大幅度增产,为实现水杉良种化提供了材料。
Metasequoia is endemic to our country, and it has become one of the main tree species for afforestation and urban afforestation in the plains and lakes in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and in the south of the Yangtze River. As the introduction of Metasequoia into the late seedling stage, affecting the genetic improvement process, we have adopted a clonal selection improvement approach. Since 1976, resource collection has been carried out, and comparison experiments of harvesting nurseries, nurseries and fields have been established. The first clones of Metasequoia glyptostroboides have been selected, which have significantly increased production compared with the existing production groups and provided materials for the realization of Metasequoia glyptostroboides .
