In the middle and southern Fujian coastal waters along the western coast of the Taiwan Strait, the sedimentary types are quite complete. Of which, the spreading of muddy zone is worthy of special attention. The muddy zone in this area is the southern part of Zhejiang and Fujian muddy zone. The fact makes clear that the muddy sedimentary zone along the Zhejiang-Fujian coast can not pass the Taiwan Strait and arrive at the South China Sea.
