近日,半岛电视台向用户发送邮件宣布,将于今年9月在美国开播新的专门针对数字新媒体终端的英语新闻频道。今年4月,半岛电视台宣布关闭其在美国经营了三年的半岛电视台美国频道(有线频道)。半岛电视台的英语新闻节目的受众遍布全球160多个国家和地区,用户总人数高达3.05亿。但是,美国受众却很难收看到半岛的直播节目。
Recently, Al Jazeera sent a message to users to announce that it will launch a new English news channel specifically targeting digital new media terminals in the United States in September this year. In April this year, Al Jazeera announced the closure of its Al Jazeera American channel (cable channel), which has been operating in the United States for three years. Al Jazeera’s English news programs have audiences in more than 160 countries and regions, with a total user base of 305 million. However, it is difficult for the U.S. audience to watch the live broadcasts on the peninsula.
