油田到了开发后期,油水混合液中高矿化度的地层水含量可达到50~90%,随之而来的是输油管线、多井计量装置、泵、炉子和其他各种有关设备的内表面都要结垢,于是管线的截面积变小,设备的处理能力降低,这时必须另外增加输液能力。为了恢复管输能力,可用机械清管器或者是化学防垢剂来清除管线内表面的垢。目前,应用比较广泛的是化学防垢法,这无疑要消耗大量的化学剂,同时也未必总能奏效。采用包括声场在内的强大的物理场来抑制结垢过程是今后的发展方向。
