云景可视化是计算机图形学和虚拟现实领域的研究热点之一。目前基于气象卫星数据的三维云景可视化方法大部分是基于二维卫星云图,无法真实反映云的三维信息。提出一种基于云顶温度/云高/云光学厚度卫星产品数据的三维云景直接可视化方法。该方法将整个空间视为由不同密度粒子构成的区域,首先得到粒子的分布函数,再由分布函数得到粒子的半径、密度等属性信息,完成云粒子模型构建;然后利用大气物理学相关知识计算粒子的光学参数;最后通过求解光在云粒子中的传播方程来得到云的三维可视化效果。实验结果表明该方法可以产生具有较高真实感的三维云景。
Cloudscape visualization is one of the hot topics in the fields of computer graphics and virtual reality. At present, most 3D visualization methods based on meteorological satellite data are based on two-dimensional satellite imagery and can not truly reflect the three-dimensional cloud information. A direct method of 3D visualization of cloud scene based on satellite product data of cloud top temperature / cloud height / cloud optical thickness is proposed. In this method, the whole space is regarded as a region composed of different density particles. First, the distribution function of the particle is obtained. Then the attribute information such as the radius and density of the particle is obtained from the distribution function, and then the cloud particle model is constructed. Then, using the knowledge of atmospheric physics, The optical parameters of the particles are obtained. Finally, the 3D visualization of the cloud is obtained by solving the propagation equation of light in the cloud particles. The experimental results show that this method can generate a three-dimensional cloudscape with higher realism.
