Prokopov introduced potassium potentiometric titration. Walter Selig using fluoroborate electrode as the indicator electrode, with sodium tetraphenylborate potentiometric titration of thallium, obtained satisfactory results. We use the fluoroborate electrode as the indicator electrode, adding excess sodium tetraphenylborate standard solution to precipitate the potassium in the buffer solution of acetic acid-sodium acetate (pH≈5), then titrating the remaining tetrakis Sodium benzene boride. The potential titration of potassium in H_3PO_4-KH_2PO_4 solution was also studied. This method and potassium tetraphenylborate gravimetric method, compared with the volume method, with a simple, fast, accurate
