The fertility of 70 0 1S, 80 87S, 3 5 0 2S, 3 5 16S 4 japonica photoperiod-sensitive male sterile lines bred from rice in Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences from 1970 to 2001 were observed. The results showed that the stable sterile period of four japonica CMS lines in Hefei was from August 10 to August 25.
