在马铃薯加工厂中,马铃薯废料的数量相当大。目前这些废料多用作肥料,或干燥后用作牛饲料。另外一个潜在用途是在生产汽油醇(一种作燃料的汽油和乙醇混合物)的过程中,作为一种发酵碳水化合物源。
In potato processing plants, the amount of potato waste is quite large. At present, these wastes are mostly used as fertilizer, or used as cattle feed after drying. Another potential use is as a source of fermented carbohydrates in the production of gasoline alcohol, a gasoline-to-ethanol blend of fuels.
