Based on the medium-speed diesel engines with larger bore sizes A420 and BL550, GMT has designed A320 series heavy-duty medium-speed diesel engines with 320mm bore diameter based on the current development trend. Durability tests show that the A320 can run reliably with heavy oil. The 6-cylinder prototype has been running for 700 hours at 720 r / min.
