A small preliminary study showed that practicing yoga halved the frequency of atrial fibrillation. The study read out at the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology in New Orleans shows that practicing yoga three times per week improves quality of life and reduces anxiety and depression, both of which often plague neurosis with irregular heartbeat patient.
