随着现代社会对英语人才需求的提高以及普通高校的扩招,大学英语教学模式以及现代大学生的学习方法已经发生了较大的变化。民办高校在面对这样的变化下,如何提高和发展英语教师职业水平成为民办高校有待解决的重要问题。因此,文章主要针对民办高校英语教师职业发展现状展开分析,并提出了提高英语教师职业素质的对策。
With the improvement of the demand for English talents in modern society and the expansion of enrollment in ordinary colleges and universities, the teaching mode of college English and modern college students’ learning methods have undergone great changes. In the face of such changes, how to improve and develop the English teachers’ professional level has become an important issue to be solved in private colleges and universities. Therefore, the article mainly analyzes the current situation of professional development of English teachers in private universities and puts forward some countermeasures to improve the professional quality of English teachers.
