笔者在授课中遇到爱探究的学生质疑:“《关雎》为什么是《诗经》的第一篇?”当初编纂《诗经》的人,在诗篇的次序排列上是否有某种用意呢?本人在翻阅一些资料后,给学生作了如下答复,希望能得到同行商榷研讨,专家学者的指正。上海古籍出版社、朱东润主编的《中国古典文学作品选》对《关雎》的题解是“《关雎》是《诗经》的第一篇也是全书首篇。《毛诗序》以为此诗是吟咏‘后妃之德’,是以《关雎》乐得淑女以配君子。现代研究者多不信此说,认为是描写恋爱的作品。”我认为古人置《关雎》为《诗经》之首篇,有深意,它吻合古
