2002年9月8-10日,478名日本各界妇女代表与中国百余名妇女牵手北京,举办纪念中日邦交正常化30周年系列活动。大会宣读了《中日妇女友好宣言》。中华人民共和国国家副主席胡锦涛亲切会见了日本访华团主要代表并高度评价了中日两国妇女为中日邦交正常化和两国关系发展所做的大量工作。
From September 8 to 10, 2002, 478 women representatives from all walks of life in Japan and hundreds of Chinese women held hands in Beijing to hold a series of activities to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan. The assembly read out the “Sino-Japanese Declaration on Women’s Friendlyness.” Hu Jintao, Vice-President of the People’s Republic of China, cordially met with the major representatives of the Japanese delegation to China and spoke highly of the large amount of work done by women in both China and Japan in normalizing the relations between China and Japan and in the development of bilateral relations.
