党的十二届六中全会关于社会主义精神文明建设指导方针的决议指出:“在我们社会的各行各业,都要大力加强职业道德建设。”这是社会主义道德建设的客观要求。职业道德,是社会道德在职业活动中的具体体现,是从事一定职业的人们在其职业实践中形成的指导自己行为的道德规范。社会主义职业道德贯串着集体主义道德原则,属于无产阶级道德规范体系。当前,在改革开放的新形势下,模范地遵守社会主义职业道德,自觉地做职业道德建设的模范,是党在社会主义初级阶段对工作在各自职业岗位上的共产党员的基本要求,也是在新的历史时期做一名合格共产党员的起码条件。

Professional ethics is the embodiment of social morals in professional activities. Socialist professional ethics runs through the principle of collectivism and belongs to the system of moral norms of the proletariat. At present, under the new situation of reform and opening up, the exemplary demonstration of observing socialist professional ethics and consciously making the construction of professional ethics is the basic requirement of the party in the initial stage of socialism for party members working in their respective professional posts.
