张紫葛,1919年出生于湖北省松滋县一个偏僻山村.1939年任宋美龄秘书.40年代初期,先后在国立音乐学院(教国文等课)、国立社会教育学院任讲师、副教授.1945—1946年,任新疆大学中文系教授.其间,同时任新疆联合省政府机关报《新疆日报》副社长兼总编辑,兼任新疆省政府编译委员会主任委员、现代出版社(西北科学出版社)社长、新疆省作家协会主席、《大公报》总社专栏作者.
Zhang Zuge, born in 1919 in a remote village in Songzi County, Hubei Province, was Secretary-General Soong Mei-ling in 1939. In the early 1940s, he worked as a lecturer and associate professor at the National Conservatory of Music In 1946, he was professor of Chinese Department of Xinjiang University, during which time he was also the deputy director and editor-in-chief of the Xinjiang Daily Newspaper of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and concurrently the chairman of the compilation committee of Xinjiang Provincial Government. He is also a member of Modern Publishing House (Northwest Science Press) Long, chairman of the Xinjiang Provincial Writers Association, “Ta Kung Pao,” the chief columnist.
