戏曲艺术在当代的发展似乎正面临着某种难以克服的瓶颈,一方面它的艺术价值备受肯定,另一方面它又有着在民间日渐式微的危机。戏曲在面对失去观众的压力下,亦莫不倾全力来寻求适应现代的方式,故而“戏曲现代化”就成了不分剧种、不分两岸的共同需求。新编京剧《骆驼祥子》不论从剧本、舞美、人物性格,甚至是行当和程式的突破皆堪称为传统戏曲和现代生活之结合做了一较佳典范。
It seems that the development of the art of opera in the contemporary era is facing some insurmountable bottleneck. On the one hand, its artistic value has been affirmed. On the other hand, it has a declining crisis in the folk. Under the pressure of losing audiences, opera also tries its best to find ways to adapt to modern times. Therefore, “opera modernization” has become a common demand regardless of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. The newly compiled Peking opera “Camel Xiangzi” is a good example of the combination of traditional opera and modern life, no matter from the script, the beauty of the stage, the character, or even the breakthrough of the line of business and the program.
