In recent years, the construction and research departments of many foreign countries are actively carrying out the development of seismic techniques for buildings in order to reduce or even eliminate the threat of earthquake damage. The bi-directional configuration of X-shaped reinforced concrete columns is a typical example of a new design for seismically-resistant concrete columns. This new design is fully capable of adapting to seismic shock waves from the east, west, north and south directions, that is, it can withstand seismic forces transmitted from all directions. This method is a new design method of connecting two quadratic-cone-shaped three-dimensional frame shapes at the apex (Figure 1). A part of the main steel bars in the reinforced concrete column is arranged obliquely to form an X-shaped working steel bar. As early as 1977, Professor Emeritus Ryuichi of Kyoto University in Japan and Associate Professor Nan Hongyi of Osaka Institute of Technology, according to theoretical research analysis and simulation experiments, have proved the validity of the new design method, and passed the practical construction practice. but,
