Earlier this year, the project of dry-process converter dust removal system (DDS) provided by Chengde Branch of Hebei Iron and Steel Group by Siemens Metallurgical Technology Department was successfully put into operation. November 21, Siemens Metallurgical Technology held a press conference in Chengde. Jan Lueder, General Manager of Siemens Metallurgical Technology Division, and Zhai Yuyou, Vice President of Steelmaking, Environmental Technology and Short Process respectively introduced the Siemens localization business and the DDS project. Participants visited the 12 0 tons of vanadium steelmaking project and dry-process converter dust removal system. The D D S project of Hebei Iron and Steel Group Chengde Steel is the first engineering, procurement and construction work to be carried out in China as the main body of the Metallurgical Technology Department in the field of industrial business of Siemens (China) Co., Ltd.
