Objective To analyze the clinical features of peripheral neuropathy. Methods A total of 269 cases of peripheral neuropathy with complete clinical data were collected from January 2010 to December 2015. A retrospective analysis was made on the diagnosis, etiology, onset form and first symptom of the disease. Three typical cases (sublingual “schwannooma”, eosinophilic granulomatous with polyangitis, multifocal motor neuropathy) Data reported. Results Among 269 peripheral neuropathies, the male-female ratio was 1.58: 1. A single peripheral nerve injury in 152 cases (56.51%), the most common facial nerve paralysis; 94 cases of peripheral nerve damage (34.94%). Peripheral nerve damage caused by diabetes in 84 cases (31.23%), motor neuron disease in 21 cases (7.81%). Acute onset more common in 147 cases (54.65%). Most of the first cases of muscle weakness symptoms in 169 cases (62.82%). Conclusion Diabetes caused the highest incidence of peripheral nerve damage.
