In the writings surrounding the history of western aesthetics, “the beauty of beauty” of the Swiss philosopher Corus is often overlooked or negatively evaluated. This paper argues that the book is indeed deficient in originality. However, as the first systematic French monograph on fiction, it has made a unique contribution to the history of aesthetics. Krusa introduced a Cartesian philosophical thinking into the study of the United States, and at the same time cleared Cartesian opposition to the theory of establishing beauty. Starting from the linguistic analysis of “beauty ”, Krossa focused on the general concepts of beauty and summarized the general principles of beauty. “On beauty” is eclectic, try our best to maintain the balance of concept theory and sensibility theory, leaving room for exploration of the feeling of beauty. Kerusa aesthetic taste does not go beyond the traditional classicism, the lack of systematic discussion of the imagination and genius, finally failed to really enter the modern sense of aesthetic studies.
