Negative dispersion optical fiber (RDF) with depressed center of refraction was successfully fabricated by non-isothermal plasma chemical vapor deposition. The fiber has an effective area of 45 μm 2 while maintaining good bending resistance and polarization mode dispersion, and has a dispersion of - 19.6 5 ps / (nm · km) at 1550 nm and a chromatic dispersion slope of -0.1332 ps / (nm2 · km). At the same time, the attenuation at 1550nm is 0.222dB / km, and the attenuation is relatively flat in the 1530nm to 1625nm band. The dispersion management fiber pair can be applied to a large-capacity high-rate long-wavelength wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) system without the need of a dispersion compensation module.
