The Third Plenary Session of the 14th CPC Central Committee made the decision to establish a socialist market economic system, and put forward clear requirements for the transformation of the operating mechanism of state-owned enterprises and the establishment of a modern enterprise system. What kind of enterprise should the future enterprises be? Where should the company go? It is undoubtedly a serious practical problem for all state-owned enterprises, including foreign trade companies. It needs serious and urgent thought and practice. The state-run foreign trade enterprises are responsible for the country’s main foreign exchange earning tasks and are directly facing the international market.
