2002年11月中旬,世界贸易组织秘书处正式公布了对日本贸易政策年度审议报告,这是该组织第六次日本的贸易政策进行年度审议。报告敦促日本继续推进结构性改革方案,以保证目前出现的弱势经济复苏势头能够持续下去。由 WTO 专家小组提交秘书处的这份审议报告认为,目前日本经济已经出现了温和增长的信号,但这种趋势能否持续还取决于其结构改革,特别是让其贸易和投资体系更加自由化。
In mid-November 2002, the Secretariat of the World Trade Organization officially announced its annual review of Japan’s trade policy, which is the sixth annual review of Japan’s trade policy. The report urges Japan to continue its structural reform program to ensure that the current weak economic recovery can continue. The review report submitted by the WTO panel to the secretariat considers that there has been a signal of modest growth in the Japanese economy at present but whether this trend will continue depends on its structural reforms and more liberalization of its trading and investment system .
