进入2004年,由中国提出并获得国际电联批准的3G(TD-SCDMA)标准日益成为全球电信业关注的焦点。据悉,目前国际上无论电信运营商还是电信设备制造商对3G“中国标准”的关注都在增加。国际上几乎所有的移动通信设备厂商都增加了对3G“中国标准”的研发投入和开发力度。今年以来,中国政府主管部门推动3G“中国标准”发展的力度越来越大,研发和产业化的推进速度也在明显的加快,外场测试供货协议的签署以及3G“中国标准”手机的陆续推出等都表明了这一点。
