同志们: 这次全国村镇建设工作会议是经国务院批准召开的。会议的主要任务是,以邓小平同志建设有中国特色社会主义理论为指导,认真贯彻党的十四届五中、六中全会和八届人大四次会议精神,总结交流“八五”期间村镇建设事业改革与发展的经验,研究部署“九五”期间村镇建设事业的指导思想、奋斗目标和主要工作任务;表彰一批村镇建设先进镇和在“八五”期间作出突出成绩的优秀村镇建设工作者、优秀乡镇长。下面,我就“八五”时期村镇建设事业作一个回顾,就“九五”期间村镇建设事业的指导思想、奋斗目标和主要工作任务讲一些意见。
Comrades: This conference on the work of building up villages and towns throughout the country was approved by the State Council.
