According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the occupational injuries and prevalence of commercial printing companies are below the average of the manufacturing industry as a whole: in 1999, the United States on average had 5 accidents per 100 printers, compared with 9.2% of the general manufacturing accident rate low. In spite of this, there will still be serious accidents, including chemical blind spots caused by workers’ eyes, permanent back strain, and disability caused by improper operation of binding equipment
