郭林祥(1914-)江西永丰人。1933年加入中国共产党。曾任红一军团第四师政治部组织科科长,第一师十三团政治委员。参加长征。后曾任八路军总部特务团政委,太行军区第六军分区政治部主任,华北野战军第十三纵队政治部主任,第十八兵团六十一军副政委。1949年后,任川北军区副政委,西南军区公安部队副政委,成都军区第二政委,南京军区政委,中央军委纪检委书记兼总政治部副主任,中纪委常委。1985年被选为中顾委委员。1955年被授予少将军衔。1988年被授予上将军衔。

In 1955 was awarded the rank of major general. In 1988 was awarded the rank of general.
