At least until the Tang Dynasty, the term “big vinegar” had blurred semantic meaning and divergent opinions. Some people say that the term “vinegar big” originated in the place of “Zheng”. There is a vinegar ditch in Zhengdian, and many scholar sits beside the ditch. To the east of the ditch, there are more monks in their family because of their social status , So called “big vinegar.” From this it can be seen that this so-called “big vinegar” does not refer to the desperate poor scholar, but refers to the family dignitaries east of the vinegar ditch, and we now say “Wall Street big boss” slightly similar. Some people say that the word “big vinegar” originated in Xinzheng, which contains a story that took place in Xinzheng City. At that time, a scholar who lived in the suburb of Xinzheng, “selling it with donkey vinegar and patrols,” sold it poor but did not change its character. There was still a pride and madness for scholarly readers. The city people pointed to his donkey and ass donated vinegar (“vinegar pack”) called him “big vinegar.” This so-called “big vinegar” refers to the poor and frustrated
