1997年12月20日,福建省考古工作队在云霄县城北郊青莲庵基址附近发掘出土一件巨幅观音画像石碑。据考证,这是省内目前所知唯一有明确纪年的明代崇祯年间线刻数珠手观音造像。 碑体呈圆首长方形,碑高2.5米、宽0.92米、厚0.17米,花岗岩石质,琢制兼粗磨,为明代崇祯十一年(1638)五月刻造。此碑双面刻制,一面碑体圆首中的长方形凸面镌阴文“吴中舍恩护义阡颂”篆书题额,上端
On December 20, 1997, the Fujian Provincial Archaeological Task Force unearthed a huge monument of the Goddess of Mercy and Earnest in the vicinity of the base site of Ching Lin An Temple in the northern suburb of Yunxiao County. According to research, this is the only province currently known to have a clear record of the Ming Dynasty Chongzhen line engraved beads of a Buddism godness Guanyin statue. Monument body was the first round rectangle, monument 2.5 meters high, 0.92 meters wide, 0.17 meters thick, granite stone, cut and coarse grinding, for the Ming Dynasty Chongzhen eleven years (1638) May carved. Carved on both sides of the monument, a monument in the first round of rectangular convex engraved Yinwen “Wu Shusheng Huanyan Qian Song” seal quotas, the top
