随着全球化的快速发展和国际交往的日益推进,各种告示、警示和服务的汉英双语标识在我国已随处可见,对加强国际交流与合作、方便外国来华人士生活和提高城市国际影响力都起到了积极的作用。然而,许多城市公共标识语的英译仍存在诸多问题。本文以城市公共标识语为研究对象,分析英译中存在的主要问题,并探讨切实可行的对策。
