B团长: 来信收到了。看了几遍,我的心情很沉重;有几处,鼻子都酸了。信中说那十几个已经离团改行的青年我是熟悉的。我和他们朝夕相处过很长一个时期。我忘不了他们在排练场上那种斗志昂扬的精神,连龙套的“标子”也举得高高的。一出新戏,经过三天的合成排练,就能步调一致,光彩焕发。更可贵的是,他们看到通过自己努力所取得的成绩时,一个个欢欣鼓舞,相互祝贺着。这说明他们有高度的集体主义精神和荣誉感。有了这种精神,就能把戏的质量不断提高。回来后,我不断地对别人讲,这个团是很有希望的。
