2010年9月21日凌晨,受强台风“凡亚比”影响,广东省高州市遭受千年一遇特大暴雨袭击,造成严重的暴雨山洪泥石流灾害,全市受灾人口16.7万人,直接经济损失21.7亿元。灾情发生后,当地纪检监察干部奋勇当先,全力投身于抢险救灾工作中。洪灾突如其来,紧急转移受困群众暴雨如注,洪水汹涌,高州水库最高洪峰水位已达101.91米,超过历史高位1.77米。
In the early morning of September 21, 2010, affected by the strong typhoon “Fan Ya Bi”, Gaozhou City, Guangdong Province, was hit by torrential rain once in a thousand years and caused heavy rainstorm flash floods and debris flows. The city suffered 167,000 floods and suffered direct economic losses 2.17 billion yuan.
