1986年9月,常州人民广播电台播送了一个专题节目,叫《毛毛学英语》。在这个节目里,三岁半的孩子毛毛用清脆的童音以英语向听众介绍了自己的姓名、年龄等情况,并流利地朗读了两段英语课文。毛毛是我的小外孙.两岁左右我开始教他说英语,让他对英语先有些感性知识。1986年3月他三岁时,我买了几盒英语原声磁带,让他跟随录音朗读英语卡片。然后,教他书写26个英语大小写字母,并采用幼儿教材朗读单词及课文。目前他已读完六、七册儿童英语教材及两本图画字典,掌握一千多个英语单词,能用学过的单词对话,并能书写一些英语常用词。有人问我,你的孩子学习英语
In September 1986, Changzhou People's Broadcasting Station broadcast a special program called Mao Mao Xue in English.
