调控是为泰康画廊“基础部”展览所创作的一个装置作品,希望通过人工搭建的固化网络和自由生长的植物之间的关系探讨社会复杂系统的可控性与不可控性。装置分为两部分,一部分位于画廊入口处,另一部分则位于三层屋顶露台空间,露台部分是一个复杂的拉力结构,利用数据结构中“二叉树”原理作为基本几何规则并由特定算法计算生成。“三叉受拉节点呈现平面状态”的特性使得建造变得简单,而只有受拉才能保持绷紧状态的棉绳则表达了整个装置的内部受力状况。
Control is a device created for the display at the Taikang Art Gallery. It is hoped that the controllability and uncontrollability of socially complex systems will be explored through the relationship between artificially constructed solidification networks and freely growing plants. The installation is divided into two parts, one at the entrance to the gallery and the other at the roof of the three-storey rooftop.
